Found this on Craig's list & just had to go have a look-see, & with the kind permission of the owner (Mr. John Slezak) here are some pictures to share, neat machine, as Ideal made a few upright vendors & this ones kinda cool being a three-selection machine, the main selection button vends 50% of the machines capacity & the other two alternate flavor buttons vend 25% each, it will vend 8-12 ounce glass bottles & from what I could see, it would be easy to get to vend cans, this machine came out of the GM tech center here in Warren Michigan & was in working condition at the time of it's "retirement" however I couldn't ( or dared to ) plug it in due to an extremly dry rotted line cord, the door lock is the same as the Ideal "sliders" & the coinmech is a varible price vendo unit set at 15-cents (which matches to the price cal/sticker) and it's 99.9% complete ( it's just missing the coin-return plunger, but it's the same as found on other side-mounted coin towers of the era) when John the current owner purchased it, it was still stocked with full bottles of Vernors ginger-ale. ( yes he kept a few of them!)

measurments are 72-1/2" High x 32-1/2" wide x 22-3/4" deep. John estimated the weight to be the same as a small motor cycle  smile so about 550 lbs empty. but it pushes about nicely with an appliance dolly ( he should know, it's been through three house-moves)

the model is listed as a 160D-302 & the serial no. is 2215

Again a special thanks to the owner for sharing this one!

Yeah..220,221 whatever it takes.
Remember, all it needs is a shot of Freon!
The Vendo V-83 is the '59 Edsel of the coke machine world. ;p
Spray painting does NOT restore a compressor
11 is louder than 10...
"Hope" is good, but it's not an action plan.

It is a bit tall & wide, but like a Vendo V110, it's not very deep, the machine is very at home flush against a wall, you can't see the side vents, but the design lends itself to this placement. (if you can see the machine next to it in the CL link, the Cavalier really bulges out into the floor area of his garage by comparision)

Considering that this model was originally intended for large volume sales in a factory floor or large office enviroment. comparing it to a modern Vendo 445/bubble front.

as a side note; the Cavalier 3-chute/style- star Coke machines' really nice too and it will vend bottles or cans,
