I am cleaning up the WB-60 and getting it all put back together. I recently got a nice shape original sign panel for it. What tips can you guys give for cleaning it? I search the site, but came up empty. I was thinking just mild soap and water with a soft sponge.

Tom, I soaked one in Dawn DW soap and it faded so be careful about soaking it for a extended amount of time.

Hey Tom, I'd start with warm water and a microfiber towel. Creighton

I decided the best action is no action. I broke the sign assembly down, cleaned the gaskets, and reassembled it. I'll post a pic soon.

Here is a pic of the refurb'd WB-60 machine. Still need to get a mech or 'free play' button (probably what I'll do) installed. I think I'll take the coin door to a paint store and have them make me an aerosol can to repaint the door with.

Thanks Glen! I was given a WC-78 pushbutton machine, which I still have parts from.
I bought this machine twice or three times - so to speak. I bought the WB-60 locally off CL for $100, but the vend motor was trash, I bought a WC-78 locally at a garage sale advertised on CL ($50), which had a working vend motor. I bought another WB-60 in PA off eBay for $105 and a friend of Steve Ebners parted it out to me, but it had a light-up sign, which mine did not and the vend motor worked. I got almost everything off it. I still need to put the WC-78 back together, but all-in-all I got a nice light-up WB-60 and a decent light-up WC-78 for $350 total.
