We went on a family road trip earlier this week - not far from home - spent the night in Flagstaff.
On our way, we went through Sedona and came across this place (pics below).
We got there right as they were closing for the day, but I asked a kid locking things up if any of the signs were for sale. He said "No - just part of the collection - held his hand about chest high and said there were pallets and pallets more in back.

WOW.... If things where not for sale, was this just a personal collection at someones place? or was he a business?
That might deserve a trip back up to see it during the open hours.

It was a business - sold SW decor...chili peppers, pottery, etc. The signs were just nailed around the parking lot...kinda like Glen uses that monster of a machine to slow traffic down outside his shop.

Dave,
Sedona is a pretty small town, but gets a LOT of tourist traffic during the day because of the red rock formations in Oak Creek Canyon. At night, it is quiet as a mouse...mainly a bunch of retired folk and hotels for the travellers.

Wow! Pallets and more pallets? I bet you were drooling!

I didn't get to see them...maybe next time!

I picked up a guy's business card on our way through Prescott. He is in another closeby town (60-90 min away). I am going to try to get up there soon. Card reads "Best Antique Store.....Anywhere - Soda Machines - Signs - Gas Pumps - Pedal Vehicles - Juke Boxes and much more. Sounds like he knows values, so probably be any deals but fun to look always.

Well I know where me the wife and kids are going on holiday next year and I'll bring an assortment of scewdrivers.

Its great that there are still places in this world where stuff like this can be left unmolested.
