There's a guy on the local craigslist that has a vendo 90 dr pepper machine and wants 400.00. I asked if he would take an offer and he said no. He goes on to tell me that you can't get these anymore and antique shops sell them for a lot higher and they don't even work. He goes on to tell me that if he went any lower it would be like giving it away. $400 isn't a horrible price but the story that came with it is hilarious. laugh                ( Ps: Sorry if  the person selling the v90 is a member)

...antique shops sell them for a lot higher and they don't even work....

I love it when people say this.  What they mean is that the antique stores TRY to sell them for more.   If they were really selling them, then we wouldn't see them sitting there!  upside

I've had a similar discussion with a guy on Phx craigslist selling an incomplete VMC-56 (from the 1950's no less) for $1200.  Told him it might be worth $150.  Haven't heard back.... don't know why?
