Find of the weekend

So I was sitting in my lawn chair Saturday afternoon and one of my neighbor's walked
up with a big smile on his face ( I think a little bigger than this one)
waving a paper in my face with a address on it, He was saying he was out doing the
garage say thing and ask this one young lady if she had and mickey Mouse stuff or coca cola
stuff, And she said she had this old coke cooler and she said I NEED AT LEAST $100 FOR IT,  So he got back to the HOOD and his first stop was my house .
So I ran over and bought this little old  Westinghouse 

 So the weekend was great

I also picked up a Westinghouse Standard a couple years ago at a yard sale.  My in-laws called one Saturday morning to tell me that a neighbor in their complex had an "old Coke Machine" that they were selling.  I got there as fast as I could with cash in my pocket...and found a Westinghouse Standard Ice in nice condition.....no rust....for $200....but I didn't want it....i was looking for a V56, V81, V110 or similar.  The guy walked up and started chatting.  I told him I was looking for something different.  He informed me that he was moving in 3 days and didn't want to haul it across the country.  I told him he should be able to get $200 for it.  As I walked away, he said "Give me $100 and it's yours."  I said Thanks, but no thanks and kept walking away when I heard...."How about $50???"  DAMN....how could I say NO?!?!  Add another one to the collection.

      This re-enforces the advice we have been giving newcommers.
"Let everyone you know that you are looking for old soda machines".
      So here we are at home minding our own buisness and these
soda machines are practically knocking at our door! So that's why
no one here can have just 1 machine. Blame this addiction on our
family and friends  It's not our fault.
