Hi everyone, I am new to this forum and a rooky when it comes to Coke machines.  That is about to change - I just acquired a Westinghouse WB60-K6-D machine that is definitely in restorable condition.  Can you point me to sites that have restoration parts and info.  I would appreciate any help.

It sounds like you have a WC60-MD machine or similar, which several members here own and can help you. A picture though will help out immensely.

I first thought the machine was a WC 60 but have found the WB 60 model number on a an embossed plate and also a faded paper glued behind the front panel.  Don't know what the difference is.  The decal on front said machine was set for 7 cents.  What is left of the wiring diagram also shows a 7 cent coin changer.

The first thing I need is a manual with a wiring diagram.  The original on the door is only half there.  Previous owners have cobbled some of the wiring.  The machine is missing the coin changer and a mounting bracket for a micro switch that I believe stops the gear motor on the dispensing mechanism after one cycle.  I don't want to plug in until I repair some of the wiring.  Also will need to find a key or replace the lock.

I will try to get some pictures and post.

Coin mechs for that machine are easy to come by. Keep an eye out
on ebay or some of the guys here.  As far as the schematics, give
Steve at Fun-Tronics a call...301 371 5346. He may have it or if not, he'll know where to get it!

Welcome to the site sparky, & yesy post pictures!

I have three of these little buggers & may be of somekind of help to you in getting it up & running again, the micro-switch that would mount down by the vending motor is for ( as you assumed correctly) the motors vend/timing-cycle. it stops the motor from rotating more than once,(which would cause a constant vending cycle) the other micro switch which is up along side the sliding selector bar is an selection empty switch ( which will light the "make another selection" lamp on the front door)

the most failure prone part (& the hardest part to get) is the vending motor itself, unplug the machine &  disconnect the linkage arm from the motors rotating vending cam by removing the "E" clip from the pivot point. then slide the link-arm off of the pivot point axle. now, firmly but gently grab the vending cam & try to rotate it counter clockwise, if it turns freely )with some gear-resistance) you're in the clear, if it feels Jammed, don't power it up! or you'll burn up its motors coil-windings. I can walk you through disassembling it later, just be warned that the screws holding the motor itself to the gear-reduction housing are left hand threaded if you bust them you are doomed!

Thanks for the tips and the copy of the wiring diagram.  Work has been getting in the way of working on the machine.  Maybe I will get really started this winter when the weather is cold.
