I have a really nice machine that does not get cold. The rest of the machine is awesome! I have a refridgeration guy that can fix it but says it will be $100-$350 depending on the problem. My delemma is: Do I fix it and pray it keeps working. The parts are difficult to come by. Or should I part it out and hope to get more than it costs to dump the remainder of the machine?

Well I guess it depends on what you paid for the machine, and what is really wrong with it. Did the service guy tell you what was wrong or what it would take to fix it?

I got it free. I would need to pay to haul it to the dump. The refer guy was just giving me worst case scenario.

I got it fixed for less than $100. Needed refridgerant and temp control!
