Brian... that Dads machine looks great... I want to do a different machine, but my wife didn't like the bright yellow of the Frostie... Maybe she'd like this one... What are you doing on the sides?

Bubba"
I am doing a decal D-A-D-"S that will be bout 5"x10"  It will run North and South.  I have done a decal for the main door but I am still perfecting it in Photoshop before I put it down on vinyl.  I will send pics when complete.  It will look something like this on the sides.

UPDATE

I don't know what is what but I have a picture!!!  First off I took out the bottom of the unit where the fan and '<img'> are located and removed the potentially bad fan.  Once I cleaned enough to see what the model and specs were for the fan I decided to give it some power just to double check. (fan blade removed)  As soon as I plugged the wires to a/c the motor spun like a charm.  That brings me to the picture below.  First what is the actual name? Condensor?  Anyway I was wondering seeing that what you see is very antique at best looking, just hanging on the side, is there a chance that this is the problem?  If any of you (which I'm sure you most can) could ID the different items and give input to the possibility of any of these going bad and where to find them I would very much appreciate it.

Tim,
The relay is connected to the start and common posts of the compressor motor - a jumper connects the overload to the run post on the compressor. Both the overload and the relay can go bad. As far as where to get another original one-good luck! Someone here may have one though.

Most configurations have the condenser fan connected to the relay / overload and a line plug from them going to the harness. From the harness, hot lead goes to the evap fan and a cord going to the t-stat is tied into power to the compressor. Are you sure you have it wired correctly?

If I understand right, you think you have it narrowed down to the compressor. If you have a multimeter, you can remove the start-relay, and overload. Then set on ohms, ohm out between each post coming out of the side of the compressor where the relay and overload was connected, to a ground. Like, from the start post to the copper line coming out of the compressor, and it sould not give any readings. if it does between any of the start, run, or common windings then the compressor is shorted to ground and is the problem. When you remove the overload look at the back and see if it looks dark brown or black or cracked up. It should be a round shiny bi-metal disc. Also look at the relay for signs of burnt terminals or bad connections. You can get replacement parts but most people use a 3-n-1 start capacitor, overload, relay combination, that replaces everything with one part. Hope you get her going.

I'll get an ohm meter today and check.  Any help from someone on how bottles would load in this?  I think it would be awesome to have both cans and bottles at the same time.  I prefer glass whenever possible. '<img'>   I'll keep Mr Blues until this is operational again.
