Years ago my brother in-law gave me a rather HUGE 7up machine... I didn't have room for it and finally gave it away to my other brother in-laws parents. Anyway they are abandoning the house and it's being put up for auction. My brother inlaw asked me if I wanted it back...Do I? I'm not sure if I want it or not, but it's available, and I have a place to put it now. Its a White Monster of a machine over 6 foot tall. It's probably from the 70's but I'm not sure of the age. Don't remember the name of the maker either.....It's a bottle machine with several shelves. Not sure if it still works it's been sitting outside for about six years. SOOoooo should I take it home?

Take it. Even if you decide not to fix it up, it's all profit parting it out, or selling it

Well I now re-own the above pictured pop machine. It's missing some shelves but looks to be all there otherwise.....I plugged it in and it was running that's a good sign. Anyway thanks for the advice I'm glad you talked me into it. It was fun going over there to my brother in-laws parents about to be lost back to the bank house. The neighbor across the street was checking us out, but never called the cops. His parents still own the house for a little while longer. I ran off with a bunch of sediment stone blocks to use along my drive way. All in all it was a good day. '<img'>

OOoooh I almost forgot the 7 up symbol and other letteing is painted on.... What should I do when it comes time to re-paint the machine? I thought they were stickers. Should I try to make a stencil or just mask off lettering? What year was these machines made?
