I do not know what the original setup was on these machines - is there a functional difference if I put in a "P-trap" style or a "coil" type style of condensation tube from the bottom of the pan over to the collection jar? Or would either style do the job and it's just a matter of preferance? If anyone has a picture of the original setup - please share. Thanks in advance for the help!

The P trap design is to keep cold air from getting out and warm air from getting in.
just like in any plumbing set up..
that is the best set up know so far..
