A guy near here is selling his machines. Opinions on prices below:
Ideal RC slider Complete and working, no coinbox $700
RC slider new yellow paint, new compressor and thermostat. Needs to be assembled $1100
Vendo 39 $800
Any input appreciated

I think you could find better prices on the sliders.... but on the 39, if it's complete, working and cooling, then 800 to me is a good price.
Maybe someone with better knowledge with sliders can chime in though

Agree with Ed on the 39. If complete $800 is fair. On the Sliders, any complete slider is worth $500 in parts. Rack, coin mech, and cap catcher = $500 alone. With both your RC's it is not a rare slider so many RC sliders out there, with that being said the prices on both your sliders just seem a tad high but not by much.

Thanks for the input. I thought the sliders might be a little high. The v-39 seemed reasonable, but I already have a VMC 27A, so I'm not sure I want another 6 once only coke machine. I may go by just to see what else he has.

What does "needs to be assembled" mean on the slider? Is the cooling system out of it?

He had taken it apart to restore. He has pictures of slider bars, compressor (everything except coin box). Said he was trying to raise money to restore an old car. A 1944 something, he kind of faded out on the phone.
