I have lost the key to my Coke Vendo 81 (taken by small child to who knows where).. Two locksmiths have been unable to open it. If anyone has a machine with this number and could make a copy of it, I will reimburse all costs.. Key number is : PR507..thank you. '<img'>

I don't know that specific lock, but can't you (or they) just drill it out?

As for where the key went, have you checked the small child's diapers? '<img'>

I may have to do that..yes, I can order a whole new mechanism.. they use those on restored machines. I am just trying to avoid doing that if I can.

Hello Maingate,
I would just drill out the lock. It only take a minute to do. Use a 5/16" drill bit and drill all the way through the center. Insert a large flat blade screw driver and rotate the tumbler 90 degrees. Very fast and easy to do. Take your old lock to Lowe's and match the length to a new lock assembly. It will cost you about 5 bucks. I hope this helps. Terry ''

Hello,
Before you drill out your lock to the machine, email me and I can give you a couple of names to people that have old soda machines keys. They usually cost around $10. bucks if your are interested.

I only have a PR-508 key with a complete lock and cam.
Call Steve at Funtronics, 301-371-5246, I think he still sells the keys...
Otherwise, call Steve at Soda Jerk Works, 559-298-4684, and ask him...

Thanks to all.. I got two offers for around $15.. I'd rather buy a new key than replace the entire lock.
