My Cavalier USS-8-64 has a Coinco coin mech which is labeled S75-CONV or CONY, but looks similar to the S75-9800 series. I'm trying to set the price to $1.00 per vend, but no matter what I set the dip switches at, it vends for a different amount. I've tried various switch settings, but they doesn't seem to be a pattern.
Has anyone else seen this and know whether it can be fixed or whether I need a new circuit board? I've flipped the switches back in forth to loosen them up and they seems to work OK. Is there some testing I can do with a continuity tester on the circuit board?
For example, here's the five switch settings and their value:
1 2 3 4 5
.05 .10 .20 .40 .60
ON ON ON ON OFF - should vend at .75, but the machine vends at .45
ON ON OFF OFF ON - should vend at .75, but the machine vends at .90
OFF OFF OFF ON ON - should vend at 1.00, but the machine vends at .30
Thanks!
Found this post a few minutes after post. Sound like the electronics could be shot on my coin mech.
