Difference in VMC 44 and V44?

What's the difference in the VMC 44 and Vendo 44 aside from the coin entry bezel on the Vendo 44?

Also, Would it be possible to turn a VMC 44 into a Vendo 44 by simply placing a bezel on it?

Would you need a new front door for it to do that?

Just asking because I like the look of the Vendo 44's and there's a VMC 44 in my state thats for sale sort of cheap. Just like the look better with the bezel.

       I was in the same dilemma a few years ago.           Ended up making a flat bezel out of polished aluminum.

From what I've read on the machine info on Soda-Machines, the VMC company actually made V44's for Vendo at one time so I thought maybe you could just fit a bezel on a VMC but wasn't sure.

The mech shaft is longer on the VMC than the Vendo and the pin hole placement is different on each.

I think I noticed about 10 different changes between my two machnes...only two important ones...the coin mech like Tom said and the bezel...all of the other stuff is minor stuff that could be interchangeable between machines. I believe there was a post about this 2 or 3 years ago.
