I took my annual returnable soda trip this past week. Kinda sad that the Winona Coke plant was not one of my stops.  down
At Twig's in Shawano, WI, I was able to get a preview of their Sun-Drop museum. I was taking pictures for Soda Spectrum magazine, which is why they let me have a preview, but I am going to let one picture leak for you guys  oops  tounge .

It is coming along pretty well, but still has some work to be done and they are hoping to have it open next summer. They just installed a brand new bottler for non-returnable bottles, which is housed in the museum.

On a side note...one they way back home I spent the night in Wisconsin Dells (left home at 7am and it was about 7pm when I rolled in to town, which I figured it would be about 12 hours, which is enough for one day). I spent the night at the Black Hawk Motel, which is on the east end of the Dells, where all of the other ma and pa motels are. It was a great old fashioned, but modern, motel (reserved parking right at your door). They have an indoor pool, outdoor pool, kiddie pool, and a retro arcade. I spent the evening having a few cold ones and playing games. I guess my room was on the slate for remodeling this winter since it hasn't been remodeled since the 80's. I could not tell and I thought that it was recently redone. They take very good care of the facilities, so if you are ever in the Dells, you might want to stay there (they do give you tickets to one of the water parks).

What type of games did they have in the retro arcade room at the motel?
Donkey Kong, Centipede, multi-game, Cruisin World, a San Francisco Rush-type sitdown game, Multi-Pac-Man cocktail, Fire pinball, another pinball but the name escapes me now, Donkey King Jr. (foreign Donkey Kong Jr.), Space Invaders, Teenage Mutant Nina Turtles vs. game, Bags/Lawn Darts, pool table, jukebox.
