I seen these at a gas station in southern Indiana today. Look at the new style of Pepsi Bottle on the end.

I HOPE bottles at the corner store / gas station make a comeback, as I have NEVER had a pop from a plastic bottle unless I had a cup to go with it.  I just hate the feel of the plastic.

Just sayin

The drink gets colder in glass and that helps the great fizz taste. The plastic gets hot right when it leaves the cooler.

Being of the somewhat younger set, I've had very few glass bottle Cokes in my life. I'll admit the taste is better in glass, but to me, it's not really worth the klutz-hazard associated with broken glass.

It doesn't help that Coca Cola wants close to a fiver (if not more) for 6 bottles (that probably aren't even 12 oz) at Wally World.

I just picked up Pepsi and Mountain-dew in glass bottles last week. I think you are right!
