Lloyd @ Coinopwarehouse got in some cool, late 50's/early 60's vending machines this week from an old operator in NC. Cigs, hot chocolate, couple soda machines. He def finds a lot of interesting stuff. Worth a trip to his Hagerstown, MD warehouse if you've never been.

I got this little machine delivered to me today. c. 1960 Avenco Coffee/Hot Chocolate machine. 4 little round legs (removed in picture). Probably for small office environment. So much smaller (and lighter) than a Stoner Cafe. It's locked. Just some surface grime that will clean up nicely. Can't wait to see the condition inside. And what could be lurking in there from being in storage for over 20 years.

Found an ad for similar machine in 1958 Vend Magazine. Cabinet style is similar. Front graphic is different.

It's like $8.50 a pound right now!! Nobody buys it around here unless its less then $5!!
