Picked this up, almost didn't take it as I was told there was a drum in it.. got there and it was missing the drum...

That's actually a good looking machine. All original and appears to be very straight. If it was complete with drum I would say it's a $800-$1,000 machine if cleaned up a bit. A drum can be pricy though if you choose to complete the machine. Either way, looks good.

Haven't decided to keep it, or part it out or sell it as a whole.  coin mech works great, the coin door is good.. the bottle door is ok...  the main door is in great shape... and it is a 1st gen vendo 39 so it has the embossed "ice cold"   not sure if that's worth anything to anyone...

That is a tough one. If you part it out you can get more then selling it as a whole without the drum but it would kind of be a shame to tear apart such a good looking machine.

Nice find.. clean it up and use it as a fridge till a complete rough one shows up. I bought one (still have it) with no drum, 6 months or so later
a rusted one pops up complete.... bought it, took the drum, and sold what was left on ebay...
A classic Coke machine...
