Hey guys I just picked up this complete  generic Ideal 55. The original color was yellow. I was figuring probably an RC but after seeing Bonovox's  Squirt 55 , it got me thinking,  Is there any other brands with Yellow like this. Its a nice solid straight box so I was toying with the idea of a full restoration. I know alot of u say they are hard to do and not realy worth it but I hate to part it out.

Hum! Lots of choices! Wonder if they were all basicly the same shade of yellow. Ill try to sand thru the white,
@ to see if I can make out an old decal outline.

Check the Crown Opener below the capcatcher...

Creighton helped identify one for me that way. He picked up a Ideal 35 for me that was converted to Pepsi but below it was a different color and the crown opener was Canada Dry.

The bottle opener is Dr Pepper so it got changed when redone. There is four holes where a sign once was . So there maynot have been decals originally .
