I am looking to buy a HA Vendo 56D. It takes 12 oz cans and i want to know if i can modify it to use 12 oz bottles. I want to use it for beer? And by chance what is a good price? I have heard from $100-300. Thanks so much

Yes & it's pretty "easy" too, (  biggrin ) but you will need a doner rack & mounting hardware from another machine ( like a rusted out parts machine of the same model as yours)

check out this conversion from bottles to cans I did a while ago & reverse the steps, works either way...http://soda-machines.com/discussions/index.php/topic,8208.0.html  although this one was a Vendo V63 the can rack actually came out of  VF56D.

& $300 for a solid/straight machine is a good price especially if it has a lightup sign/marquee. in running & compete condition of course.

Yeah..220,221 whatever it takes.
Remember, all it needs is a shot of Freon!

"Hope" is good, but it's not an action plan.

Thanks so much. And such a quick responce . Its in pretty good shape but does not have a light up sign. I think I can get it for $200. Now I need to find that part.

these are the pics of device that distributes the cans. When you pull up on the lever it pushes the can out. As you can see in the one pic the bottles is too big. If anyone knows what model to use to replace this system so it will do  12oz bottles. And if anyone one has one for sale at a reasonable price i can be reached at      spencerd150@gmail.com

Thanks

You will need a bottle stack and replace all the can shelves with bottle shelves.
Somebody will trade you I'm sure!
