Collecting Ideal Sliders

Can someone tell me how a coin mech can be removed without damaging? I though maybe taking the hood off might shed some light, but the screws just spin. Before i get stupid, I figured I'd check with the pros. I do not have the key either. I have three different types of coin mechs. The two are a piece of cake. This one does not have a hinged door. Looks like the hood comes off exposing the inside at the top and I am thinking opening the bottom door/drawer/coin box exposes the other screws?

Also, The shaft is broken on this one. Do I have to custom make a replacement?

I am having a hard time getting pics up here, so if you can help, I can email pics directly.

Also, I do have an Ideal 55 coin mech(large) for sale if anyone is interested. Again, get me your email and I will send pics.

Yes, removing the coin box will reveal 2 screws, remove them and lift.
