Cavalier wet cooler

I am wanting to buy a Cavalier or westinghouse cooler. I have found a Cavalier that I like but it is a wet cooler. I don't know much about these but I don't think it would be practical for what I want to use it for. How hard is it to convert these to air cooled machines, and does it destroy their value? What do you all think?
