Everything seems to be working fine, except when I turn the cam as if I was retrieving a drink, the cam returns, but does not lock, I have to manually play with it several times for it to lock, I believe the the bottom spring needs to be shortened, (not the one on the cam)  but the one that moves the mechanism front to back.  Does this make sense to anyone?  Or could it be something else?  Thanks.  M

Does the lock slide move freely or is it binding at all? Everything should move like butter!
Those that restore 81's regularly might impart more knowledge.

it moves fine, not enough tension to bring it back, thats why i think spring needs to be shortened.
