I've seen plenty of blank wall coolers with the plastic sign at the top but never one that was actually marked. Can't figure out a date. The plastic sign at the top is missing but I have seen them in blank coolers before, just have to snag one one day. Anyone else seen one of these for a different soda company?

I think the Barq's logo is 50's, but the cooler looks newer than that (square / vents behind grill in front).
Any kind of ID plate on it?

It could be from the 50s or 60s. I've seen regular quikold machines that still had the tags on the inside with the date of manufacturer and they were anywhere from the late 50s to late 60s. Before the 50s I'm not really sure what Barq's would have used as their are no round top machines that I know of. I have seen some 40's ice coolers but all the consisted of was a generic box that a metal advertising sign slid into. Here's the id plate.

I have this all-original Barq's Ideal 55 slider and there are several spots inside the coin mech where April 1958 is stamped. The logo is the same as your machine.
