I Recently met a guy who is in a bit of a slump money wise, and needs quick cash. So he is wanting to sell some of his coke collection. Lucky for me he lives 20 minutes away. So far i have bought a westinghouse junior, a silhouette girl thermometer, and soon will be purchasing a big tin sign, and.... (i've wanted one of these SOOO bad) a lollipop sign. he wants 350 for the lollipop sign, and the only thing it is missing is the bracket which connects the pole to the sign itself, so I'll have to figure that out somehow. he has a lot of other items for sale that I might pop at when a get a job, which will hopefully be soon. PICS SOON  laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh

They both look like nice pieces Jack!
I'm sure some of the sign experts will chime-in about the Lolli-bracket...

Hey Jack,

I was going to bid on a particular item, but all I want is the base!
Check out the item and see if this item has the bracket at the top you are looking to acquire...
I'm not sure if the bracket has been modified to install the frame... But perhaps we could share the cost in some way making both of us happy ! ! !

Modified Lolly Pop Sign: base and bracket

PM me or just let me know...

Here are the newest finds...

The tin sign in 32" wide, 54" tall

The lollipop sign is from 1938

I am assuming the base and pole were not supposed to be painted red, would sandblasting the red off be a good idea?

      That's some nice stuff Jack.

You will need 2 jobs to pay for this new habit.  biggrin

Below is a restored base that is for sale here locally so you can visualize what you want yours to look like.
