Your slug rejector needs cleaning and/or adjusting. Remove the rejector by slightly pulling the small spring steel clip(s) to the right and swinging the rejector out. Remove the rejector cover plate (with the decals) by unscrewing the 6-32 nut and 6-32 screw, prop the spring loaded scavenger plate open and run it through the dishwasher. Remove before drying cycle, blow out water & debris with compressed air. Remove the nickel cradle, part that spins on the post. Reem a pipe cleaner with a little Brasso through the post hole on the cradle and also wrap the pipe cleaner around the post and twist it a few times. You may have an oversize guage too depending on the model rejector. If so, do the same pipe cleaner steps for it. Reattach cover plate with 6-32 nut with #6 lockwasher and 6-32x1/8" screw with #6 brass washer (that is what should be there).
There may be other adjustments, but without holding it in hand....
