After wanting a Vendo 44 for over twenty years I have finally got one. I found it on Craigslist in Louisville KY and after contacting the owner and sending my brother over to look at it, well, I bought it.

My brother assures me the machine is in real good to excellent condition (not perfect) and appears to have spent it's entire existence indoors. Other then a little latex paint dripped on the original paint and a few scratches the machine looks good. It works and apparently the interior looks great with all of the original decals still in place. I was told that the only thing it needs is a paint job. I'll post pictures as soon as I get em.

I got some pics and I am extremely happy with the purchase. I only hope that my brother actually lets me have it. He kind of likes the little machine.

Many many years ago I was at a Flea Market at the Texas State Fairgrounds with my brother. A nice 9-pull National Cig machine was there for $60 - I didn't have enough $$ with me to purchase. He floated the extra $$ to me, but later bugged me to death and bought me out, so I know how you feel.

The V-44 is the only machine that my wife has called cute and they are kind of neat! Congrats to your brother!  tounge

Nice machine!  That one is also on my list.

RC--I will be heading down to Florida later this month and can swing through Louisville to pick that up for you.  I might have to hang onto it for a few years though! biggrin Cool laugh

My brother is coming down to pick up my Corvette. He's going to put a 383ci SBC in it. He will bring the machine down when he comes to get the car. Well, I hope he brings it. Both he and his wife now want an old soda machine.

Thanks for the offer.
