OH My GAWD !!!
We have a mayor in Lansing that would like to see this happen in the State of Michigan, and he is making a run for Gov.
and I really hope he does not make it.

Michigan goes smoke free next month, so I'm waiting for the sucking sound from the Capitol when revenue from cigarette taxation (currently one of the highest in the state) drops.
And yeah, i really see a tax on candy, soda and snack foods happening in the next year or 3

Here in NY we have been smoke free in any public area Bars, Restaurants, etc for a few years now. Now the Gov is trying to pass a 18% tax on soda and sugary drinks.

We've been smoke free here for years. Now if you're even driving in your car and a person 16 or under is in it, you get charged

As soon as the cig tax revenue drops in Michigan, they will be coming after our soda, candy and Big Macs!
