7-UP Ideal 55 Slider Paint Question

I'm new at this so here goes.  On my ideal 55 7-up slider the embossed 7-up logo on the front of the machine has a green like triangle around it.  Why is it that some have this and some dont?

I believe they were just trying to dress up the logo... modernize it...
All the ones I owned didn't have it but it adds something to it... same on the 81s... looks nice.

I think you are right Eric, make it a new look so bottlers will buy them.
