Definitely an old one , I used to have one but when I moved 25 years ago I left it still working on my outside deck. I got it out of an old telephone switchboard building during plumbing remodel in the 70s . Wish I had brought it with me .

So after all these years my water cooler has developed an issue. Everything is working, the water comes out cold at 39 to 43 or so degrees, but the little fridge compartment won't get below 60 degrees. Also, I don't think the compressor is ever going off or cycling. It's been this way for a long while so I would think if it was leaking Freon the water would get warm also.
Any thoughts for me? I called Global but they are out of business. Thanks |

Still looking for coin mechanism, guess that’s what I get getting excited over finding it a low price and not checking inside. Felt heavy enough thought all parts were there .

I have to ask......is anyone going to the Chicagoland show? It is at the Schaumburg Convention Center on May 29-30, 2026 in Schaumburg, IL. I believe I will pay it a visit. I'm not interested in anything in particular. So, I'll just go on Saturday to walk around. I went last year and it is a nice set up but at that time it was new, so it wasn't hopping like the old times at Pheasant Run in St. Charles Illinois. I'll see how it is this year.

I also have a vendo 81 that works great, but is pretty beat up. Perfect for outside on the patio full of beer. Would definitely need a new paint job, besides that other parts could probably just be cleaned up. Again any info would be great.

I’ve looked around knowing that I’m sure this topic has been covered ….but I didn’t find exactly what I was looking for. On my 81 HD VMC Pepsi machine, my serial number of the cabinet tag is: 100296B41 (I did find out that the B41 on the tail end stands for Pepsi). My compressor deck plate ID tag is: 5K563530
I’ve listed both numbers as I read that the VMC deciphering codes are not the same as the Vendo machines. And that it might be a combination of the two tags?? I’m curious to know how to decipher my serial number to learn what year and month my machine was manf? TIA |
