Title: Coinco FP9800-807 missing parts
Post by: HossCH08 on May 11, 2022, 10:04:47 pm
Picked up my first soda machine project.  A Westinghouse WB-78-K6-D.

The coin changer is a FP9800-807 and it appears to have been...modified :censored: using epoxy to secure the two levers on the 5 cent chute assembly.  I was able to chip away the epoxy to allow the levers to move again, but I don't think they will move as freely as intended for operation.

Studying the manual, I noticed that it is also completely missing the .10 & .25 chute, along with both of the nickel change tubes.

Am I correct in assuming that the chutes from the S75-9800 series would not work correctly in the FP9800 series changers?

Are there any places other than eBay, sodajerkworks, and funtronics to find replacement parts for changers? If I can't locate any parts, would a S75-9800 work as a replacement, making sure that I get the 120v option?

As Moondawg stated, yes a 75-9800/ A or B series will work fine.

Thank you for the quick responses.  I will go that route then.
