I was wondering about the idea of taking my Ideal 55 rack to a machine shop and having the slots widened a bit to accommodate larger neck bottles. Has anyone tried this and would this be a reasonable approach approach? Opinions? FYI.... there were some late-model A5 sliders that had can racks instead of bottle racks, Pat Pixley used to own one. In reality it is probably not worth the effort to modify the rack. |
