Title: Cavalier CD-22 Cooler
Post by: ajf5577 on October 03, 2015, 08:43:52 pm
I located this Cavalier CD-22. All I can see missing is the little door on the front. Owner says that it runs and cools.
Any idea on value range or details that I should look for?

Hello.AJF5577

The door missing on the front is I think the drain drawer ??? as for the cooler it's self there not really collected because of there size & Weight  :tounge:  I've seen these sell for $2-400 dollars most people just want to get rid of them there Like a Vendo 83. You gota love them to own them lol

Yep six strong helpers and a flat bed truck to move that without damage. Unless it is just for display going to get badly upside down quick. Money no object they are very cool restored.

I've seen people use these as a fridge for the hunting cabin.  Very cool and fictional but do to size do not command high dollar value. They are bulky but not crazy heavy, relatively.

Has anybody ever changed the thermostat in a cooler to make it into a freezer?

I'd like to know that myself. Can these be made into a deep freeze?
