Do you think it is just a case of him changing his mind? I hate to be overly cautious, but... Title: Re: Would you be leary of this eBay listing? No idea who made the rims. Could very well be crappy knockoffs. I've used these, I like the solid chrome spoke. That was a Cougar deal so not correct on a Mustang. My wife tried to tell me I only think of myself because I have bought 5 pop machines. When I told her I had spent 200 dollars and sold on for 140 so my total was -$60 so far on the four machines I still had she made like Emily Latella from SNL and said " oh, well never mind..." LOL! Post by: halehouse on September 20, 2009, 08:49:05 pm He bought them and was reselling them because the original listing had the size listed incorrectly. He did change the size in his listing. I passed because a Creighton pointed out I didn't know if they would be good quality or not. They do look like the right "style" to me though.
Title: Re: Would you be leary of this eBay listing? Post by: Creighton on September 20, 2009, 10:18:43 pm The punched out spokes are Mustang correct (65-67). Crager made the factory orginals. Biggest problem with the orginals is the center hole is too small to fit on spin balancers. Need to find a tech that owns and can operate a bubble balancer. Not easy these days.
The good thing about Stangs is everything is available. Paying for it is another thing :-) Creighton |
