Title: what is this machine and is it worth anything?
Post by: rugrunner on August 30, 2009, 01:36:36 pm
This is on craigslist near me for barter. runs but doesn't cool.

If I got it cheap enough is it worth parting out?

So far I have tripled my 50$ spent on a non working Ideal 55 and thought I might do so again.

Thanks!

It is a Westinghouse WC-126-MD
Not highly desireable because of size - I would bother with it if it isn't cooling.
I don't think you would even make $200 parting it out - most valuable part (if working) would probably be the vend motor.

Thanks for the info! That was my first thought but I know just enough to know I don't know enough...

I don't know one way or the other.
But what I like about it is...
The use of greeen in the logo (don't ask why, it just looks good to me)
and I like the dial selector mech.
Now would I buy it? Only if it was really really cheap.
Like $100 or less. Of course i would be buying it for
me and not to flip
