Title: vendo 110 Post by: zadd on August 29, 2009, 05:44:18 am I bought a contact style t-stat and need help with the proper location and mounting of it . The one that came out of it was coiled like a spring and inserted in a sleeve in the evaporator . the t-stat I got is pre bent and I'm having trouble with cycling of the system . It cools and runs for about an hour and shuts down and then is only off for 10 min then starts up again . So I figure I have to put the t-stat like the one that came off of it and wrap the new one around a screw driver to put it in the sleeve properly but not sure how to do that with it being pre bent ? Any thoughts ?
