Title: New Car Post by: halehouse on August 19, 2009, 08:51:56 pm Thought I would share pics of our "new" car which joins our other Mustang which is 40 years its junior. This one is a pass-down from my dad. It is in pretty good condition. On the outside, cosmetically, I would like to change the wheels as these are GT and the car is not.

Title: Re: New Car Post by: Creighton on August 19, 2009, 09:15:33 pm Dang that is a mighty clean 67. Lucky you. Have had several Mustangs and Cougars any questions just ask. I think the best period wheel is a repop 68 Cougar GT in 15". Don't have the link handy but could find.
Very cool!! Creighton Title: Re: New Car Post by: halehouse on August 19, 2009, 09:41:27 pm Dang that is a mighty clean 67. Lucky you. Have had several Mustangs and Cougars any questions just ask. Title: Re: New Car Post by: Pat Pixley on August 19, 2009, 09:52:22 pm Dan , Nice 67 stang I was lucky I grew up with them the neighbors had over 20 stangs
so I learned alot from them. I think you will do well on the stlye steels wheels with some nice white letter tires :Oo: Firestones. Dan you did well my friend  congrats and have fun . Title: Re: New Car Post by: halehouse on August 19, 2009, 10:09:58 pm Nice car Dan... Was your father the original owner? No, he's not. I'll have to ask if he knows how many owners there were before him. He has some of the original paperwork. Where they live isn't too far from where it was originally sold, so it didn't venture far. Title: Re: New Car Post by: bubba on August 20, 2009, 05:19:57 am I know on our NJ titles, there is a number in the upper left corner that tells how many times the vehicle has been titled.

See if you can keep it in the family until it's time your son to drive ! We'll see! Who needs a practical car, right? Title: Re: New Car Post by: Creighton on August 21, 2009, 10:06:40 pm My first car was dad's old 65 4 speed 4 barrel stang coupe. Had a farm license so at 14 I was good to go. The time spent adjusting and tuning is something we both will always cherish. Hope you will be able to share the joy.
