Wish me well. The 60 Mile Walk starts tomorrow at 6:30AM EST. My two sons made donations tonight that put me over the $20,000 mark. I don't care how hot it is just :hopefull: pray for no rain! Post by: mznb1u on August 18, 2009, 06:55:59 am Well, it was the hottest weekend in Michigan so far this Summer but I made it through the walk with only a few large blisters! I would have to say that this was the most difficult, yet most rewarding thing I have ever done in my life. No matter how bad my feet were hurting (and they were screaming) the encouragement from the people along the route and the thank you's from all of the survivors kept me going! It was an amazing experience and I will definitely do it again next year with my wife at my side!
Took it easy yesterday, but it is back to work today.
