My ex Mother in law used to bring me vernors, better made chips, and kowolski hot dogs. Now that she's my ex MIL not so much :down:. http://www.kowality.com/ Vernors slogan used to be "aged in oak bareels for 4 years", and ehen their plant was in downtown Detroit, they really did age it, and wow, what a taste. Then Corporate greeed took over, they were bought (several times i believE) and the barrels are history. Still taste good, but not the same. And if you can get hold of Vernor's try a Boston Cooler. Pour Vernors and vanilla ice cream in a blender, mix until ice cream is smooth. Serve in a frosted glass. |
