Title: Cavalier c4-96g vend motor
Post by: on September 20, 2003, 09:20:11 pm
I've been trying to get this Cavalier C4-96G machine running. I solved my refrigeration problems(new lower fan motor) and now the vend motor cycles continuously, pulling the chain to reset the vend bars at the bottom of the vend chutes. There is a switch that a cam hits every cycle (works - I tested it) but it doesn't stop the motor from running. Oddly enough, the machine's flourescent Coke light flashes off for a second every cycle.
Anyone have any ideas?

Never mind....
I bought a service manual from Harrison Collins (jukin@tima.com) and troubleshot it from the schematic. I hooked the evaporator fan motor to the wrong point at the junction block.... Hmmm... just one wire. Proof positive to buy a Service manual for $15-$25 instead of guessing and almost blowing your machine.....
Thanks anyway
