Title: ideal 55 mech without key
Post by: rugrunner on July 05, 2009, 11:09:50 am
Is this something I can find somewhere?

If not what to do? Thanks!

Welcome to the sight.
Give Fun-Tronics a call at 217-857-1759, or check out our web sight at www.fun-tronicsllc.com. We have the lock and key for the Ideal 55.
Hope this helps.

That does but would the key unlock the lock that is on there now?

Yes, unless a previous owner changed out the lock.

Cool. Thanks for the help and sorry about the simple questions. I am hoping to become confused by better things as I go along.

I am a big cigar lover and on cigar forums the most hated question is "should I leave the cello on or take it off".  Ask that one and you will get dozens of smart aleck answers.

Either you guys are more patient or I haven't asked the equivalent of the cello question yet...

Then you need to get one of these!

So come on then.... Is it better to leave it on or take it off...

Personally, I hate the smell of burning cello... :tounge:

That is fabulous! LOL Thanks collecture for the pic! One thing at a time though...

Kilroy is correct! Always take if off before smoking.

There is great debate however about storing cigars with or with the cello. Some claim it inhibits moisture (cigars need to be store at 70 degrees and 70% humidity)movement. Some say it keeps the flavors of different cigars from marrying. I leave my cigars in the cello (until ready to smoke them Kilroy) because the cello protects them.

At last count I had approximately 3000 in storage (one reason I have to go slow with the soda machine thing. If I get another expensive hobby the CP will  :veryangry:) and I don't want them falling apart so the cello stays on.

The reason the question is so notorious is that there really isn't a right answer but it seems everyone new to cigars asks it.
