Title: Buys of the week, VMC 81, Westinghouse 44 Post by: coke_and_stuff on July 04, 2009, 02:19:27 am I picked up this VMC 81 Generic today out of North Little Rock, AR. Marvin and I have been back and forth trying to get in touch with the lady that owned it. Everytime she would respond she wouldnt give a phone number and didnt seem to interested in selling. A little patience pays off and today she came through.
The Westinghouse 44 I found on the way home, I couldnt pass it up as well, Not my style but the mech sure does make it a worthwhile buy. I always seemed to find some nice stuff when I was in the Little Rock area for my 4-5 month stays at the base for training. I miss going there and antiquing on long trips like that! All the antique dealers in the area knew me and watched for stuff I liked.

What are you going to do with the rest of that W44? I want it if you don't. I don't care about the mech. Do you have the space to hold it for me? I would need you to hold it until winter. Maybe if my grandpa has a run down south I will have him get it. I really really want a W44. If you can hold it let me know what you want for it. If you can't hold it I understand and go ahead and get rid of it. If you do hold it it will be a good trial for the mech plate I am making.
