Title: Help Needed.... Life Savers required... Post by: davethebirdman on July 04, 2009, 01:51:49 am Hi Guys... I have re-created another candy wall hanger... Its a 1940's British Machine selling Polos... Polos are the same as your life savers. The problem I have is that my machine won't vend the modern day packs of polos. They are too long... When I was in Florida last year I managed to pick up a pack of Lifesavers that were shorter than the norm... I think they must come in a variety of sizes... As I recall I think it had nine sweets inside instead of 13.... Those of you who have kids and spend time in the candy isle, could you please keep an eye open for the rolls... I 'd love my machine to vend again... I've looked on Ebay but the US sellers of candy only list the 13 sweet packets... Cheers Dave Title: Re: Help Needed.... Life Savers required... Checked a couple of stores today. No go. All Lifesavers were in bags. The small size may be a Halloween thing. Will keep checking. Creighton |
