Title: V-63? can machine value
Post by: collecture on June 05, 2009, 02:38:22 pm
Looks to be in very nice shape, but cannot see all of it. Only a couple of miles away - seller asking $350
What is a good value? Seller said they were open to offers, but wants the $350

Nice looking machine!  I've seen them going anywhere from $250-$500 around here, usually on the lower half of that scale.  Had a nice Dr. Pepper machine on our CL for $300 that sat for months before it sold.  I wish the Pepsi ones showed up here more often...a guy in my office wants one for his wife (she likes Diet Pepsi), but all we get here is Coke and Dr. Pepper!

Greg,
If you are heading out with Brian, I could pick this one up for you and just add it onto the load??

I'll have to talk to the guy here, but it looks about just like what he is wanting!  That may be a plan...I'll let you know!

Bought one similar to that a couple of years ago, but it was a 7up machine for $70.00.

Greg,
I guess the seller's asking price is somewhat high (kind of what I thought too), but I haven't actually seen it in person. I can probably take a peek tomorrow if convenient and still available.
Get some idea of what your friend might pay under various conditions (VG condition, needs some work, etc.) and I'll get back to you with an analysis and a general feeling for sellers bottom line (if I can).
The pics sent to me were 1MB - so if you want better pics, PM your email address and I'll forward them to you. Paint really looked good from what I saw, but I did not see it all.
