Title: Christmas in MAY
Post by: Pat Pixley on May 31, 2009, 11:02:29 pm
Ok not really but it was a good way to end May.
We went to a Birthday party and having a good time  when a friend
of the family said hey Pat (That would be me ) I've got
something out in the veh. for you , Walked out there with him
and he pulled out this Coca Cola Tin sign, he pulled it out of a back seat
of a 66 Mustang that was at a junk yard ( he was looking for parts for his 66 stang)   he had it for a year and keep forgetting to give it to me
he said till now.

It is a heavy steel  I think I'm going to go out and buy some oak and make
a frame for it . and hang it at home or my office , The wife said I should
hang it  out in the garage behind the work bench  :upside:I do get her sometimes   .

Nice sign!  What a great friend!  I would agree an oak frame would look great with that sign, though not out at your work bench!     Sorry Mrs. Pixley!!

great sign,

It is good to here we can still find stuff out there and not have to pay an arm and a leg for it, or in this case, anything.

I believe I would display it as is to avoid covering the details on the edges.
