Title: Keys and a Clock
Post by: Sodak Bob on May 23, 2009, 09:18:34 am
I just visited the wife's uncle who worked for Coke back in the days and he gave me this nice Swihart bubble Up clock  (working with curved glass and second hand) and a load of keys for Vendos, Cavaliers, etc.  Keys are PR, KT, WE, CAV, DN, XX, ABT, and a few others. I found keys for my 39 and 81 but not the coin changer...

I'll say it again - you have to send some of your mojo south!
Nice looking clock!

Great looking clock and great score on the keys. I have several PR and CAV keys and they have saved me several times going to see machines that are locked with no keys. I have found a few that were missing parts but more than anything it shows the seller that you know what you are doing.

Great looking clock, I like the color as well, and are any keys for sale?

The keys can be copied. I had a member make me copies of keys a long time ago and they were PR keys. I am sorry to say that I don't remember who the person was but it was more than 4 years ago. No matter what they are as long as you have the key they can be copied. I have also seen complete key sets sell for rather good money on ebay.

Thats right. Sorry it was a while ago. I still have the keys set aside waiting for me to come home and use them. But they have been well used. When going to look at a machine and they don't have the key you can just pull out your PR key ring and open up the machine. Not only does it make you look like a pro but I have also saved myself from buying machines that didn't have the guts and the owners said buy as is and no key so unknown whats inside. Makes you wonder if the conveniently lost the key.
