Title: Need a little help on a V81D Coin Door Post by: SIGNGUY on May 20, 2009, 03:26:46 pm I'm restoring an 81 D for a customer, and need a closeup photo of the opening where the vend handle goes through, I know there is a backing plate to Fill the void, but the one I'm working on had had that area welded closed now I need to make a new opening.. and dont' have a reference? Can I get some photos and also the dimensions of the opening itself?

Attached are pictures of the opening on my VMC 81D. I think the opening is the same as the Vendo 81D. The opening size is 5" x 2". I think that I have a backing plate if you need one.
