Title: Jukebox question Post by: loman4ec on April 27, 2009, 01:53:00 am I found a Seeburg 100A that has been converted to 45's. It doesn't work but is complete and the cabinet is good and so is the glass. What is this worth? Is it worth $500?
Also I found this on ebay ending today. If I were closer it would be mine. Someone here should get this. Either way what is it? I think 500 for a 50's seeburg is a good price. The A isn't as a popular as the or G, or W, but still qa cool peice. In the 60s, Seeburg went started using steel pilisters because the plastice ones were getting kicked in. In the late 60s, they went to a conversion so there were no pilisters to worry about. It may be easier for you to get an old origianal Seeburg 100c or B. They look so much better before the conversions.

Just looking for a good machine to turn when the economy gets better. I have a bit of storage room and prices are way down so I would like to buy some machines and jukes and wait for the price to go back up. So far I have had good luck but I don't want to buy duds. thanks for the advice. I will stay away. However how much are the glass domes? I need a glass dome for my C. That machine may be worth it in parts.

most Seeburgs after and including the C will come back into demand when the market gets better, The 220 qand 222's, Seeburg first stereo boxes were getting crazy $$ for a fully resotred one. The Wurly 1700,1800, and 1900's haven't dropped much in price, but if you find a good deal, jump on it. 1950 AMI's continue to be the red headed step child of jukeboxes. I've heard great stuff about the sound qualitty, easy to work on, but just not that popular. |
