Title: Air reel Post by: mrsoda on April 10, 2009, 04:20:10 pm I got this air reel last year at carlisle for 20.00, had a broken corner on mounting bracket, made about 1930. Gave to friend to redo, but after a year he gave it back to me and said he did not have time to do, Called bernie from BRENIES AUTO , Ask if he could fix corner and restore. That was three weeks ago. He just called me this afternoon and said it is done. Can not wait to see it, will post pictures when i get it from him in a week.

That Air Reel looks awesome. I bet even if you were to show a close-up of the fixed corner you wouldn't even be able to tell. A great weld job and some excellent grinding/shaping skills. When you get a chance, I'd love to see some pictures of your Popperette. We have a small group here of owners that would appreciate it.
