Title: Some New Bottles - aka: What I Have Been Up To Post by: dr galaga on March 15, 2009, 02:31:52 pm I haven't been able to spend that much time lately. I just got done remodeling and repainting our house and clearning out a lot of junk.
These new bottles kinda explain why... (http://brentsarcade.com/misc/bottles.png) I talked my wife in to getting the birth announcements on Root Beer bottles (didn't take too much talking in to)! I thought that these would be a fitting way to tell everyone. I had them done at Stone Cellar Brewpub in Appleton, WI (http://www.stonecellarbrewpub.com/) and took a road trip yesterday. Catherine is our first child and I don't think mom will allow her to have her own pop machine (before anyone asks :tounge: ). Here she is today, just a little over two weeks old. Congrats on Catherine. She's beautiful. :happydrinkers: The only problem that I can see is once you start collecting kids, just like pop machines, you'll start with one and before you know it you'll have a whole house full of them.  Title: Re: Some New Bottles - aka: What I Have Been Up To Post by: Pat Pixley on March 15, 2009, 08:44:50 pm Congrat. Brent she is a beautiful little girl.
And just a note you can stop at one :wow: because the first one will drive you nuts causing the hair to grey or fall out believe me, my 21 year old daughter who has moved back home keeps thing enteresting at all time. But still would not change any thing . and again congrat Brent I also like the bottle idea very cool. Maybe that's the new 40 thing to do!!!!... so all you other guys take note!.... She'll keep you busy.... Wish you guys all the best... and something I'm sure you're learning... sleep when she sleeps! Or Brent at least act like you're in a deep sleep and can't hear her! it'll work.... for a while :upside: Awesome idea on the bottles too! :happydrinkers: Title: Re: Some New Bottles - aka: What I Have Been Up To Post by: Creighton on March 15, 2009, 10:27:31 pm Brent,
Congrats and +1 to all the posts!!! Creighton Title: Re: Some New Bottles - aka: What I Have Been Up To Post by: 90grad on March 16, 2009, 05:22:05 am What a wonderful blessing, Brent!! Yes, you'll be tired for a while, but you'll seem to forget all that stuff and remember the cool things. Beautiful little girl! Remember, tell the wife you can put her formula in a soda machine. Those baby bottles would probably fit nicely in a 39 drum or 51 ammo belt.

Everyone I'm sure has told you that time is going to fly and to enjoy when she is young... It really does.... It feels like my last one was born a week ago, and he is nine now.. Time really does fly.. Title: Re: Some New Bottles - aka: What I Have Been Up To Post by: BrianB on March 16, 2009, 07:50:59 am Brent,

Title: Re: Some New Bottles - aka: What I Have Been Up To Post by: dr galaga on March 20, 2009, 11:31:21 pm Thanks guys. I think it tastes pretty good. It's a little lighter tasting and I think it's made with sugar.
